Adoni-bezek is a king in Judges who is first named when opponents find him at Bezek and fight there. Judges 1:5
He flees, but is pursued and seized; the passage says that his thumbs and toes are cut off. Judges 1:6 Adoni-bezek then says that seventy kings had gathered scraps under his table after receiving the same treatment, and he describes his own fate as repayment from God. He is brought to Jerusalem and dies there. Judges 1:7 His name occurs in at least three verses, all in Judges.
