Achbor is named as the father of Elnathan in Jeremiah.
Achbor in the Bible is the Jeremiah figure named as the father of Elnathan of Jerusalem, first identified at Jeremiah 26:22. In that passage, King Jehoiakim sends Elnathan son of Achbor and other men to Egypt. Achbor is also named when Elnathan is listed among officials sitting in the king’s house chamber (Jeremiah 36:12). The name occurs in at least two verses, both in Jeremiah, and the supplied passages identify Achbor through this father-son relationship.
