Abinoam

Abinoam is the father of Barak, identified when Barak is summoned in Judges 4:6. The verse calls Barak “son of Abinoam” and locates him at Kedesh in Naphtali. In that passage, the summons directs Barak to deploy on Mount Tabor with men from Naphtali and Zebulun. Abinoam’s name occurs in at least one verse, all within the book of Judges.
