Version 1.1 of the Anselm iOS app is out now. A few things worth knowing.
Dashboard
The app now has an actual dashboard. Version 1.0 dropped you straight into the Bible reader with no orientation — fine if you already knew what the app could do, not great if you were new to it. The dashboard gives you a proper starting point and makes the rest of the app easier to discover.
Audio Lectures
Audio lectures are now available in the app. Generate a Devotional, Teaching, or Scholarly report and you'll find the audio option once it's complete. Full lock screen playback controls work through iOS, so you can put your phone in your pocket and keep listening. I wrote more about how the audio system works in a recent post if you want the details.
iPad
The app should now work properly across every iPad size from the mini up through the largest Pro models. Fonts, buttons, graphics, and layout all scale to the screen rather than just stretching or crowding. It was usable before on some sizes, but this brings it to where it should have been at launch.
Bug Fixes
General bug fixes across the app.
God bless, everyone.
