The Time of the End: Deliverance and Resurrection

Daniel 12:1-13

12
Chapter 12
1 And at that time Michael, the great prince who stands over the sons of your people, shall stand, and there shall be a time of distress which has not happened since there was a nation until that time. And at that time your people shall escape, every one found written in the book. 2 And many of those sleeping in the dust of the ground will awake, these to life everlasting and these to reproaches and derision everlasting. 3 And the wise ones will shine like the brightness of the expanse, and the ones justifying the many like the stars forever and ever. 4 And you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book of Scripture until the time of the end. Many will search about, and knowledge will increase. 5 And I saw—I, Daniel—and behold, two others standing, one at the bank of the river and one at the bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linens who was from above the waters of the river, "Until when is the end of the extraordinary things?" 7 And I heard the man clothed in linens who was above the waters of the Nile, and he raised his right hand and his left hand to the heavens and swore by the life of the Eternal One that for an appointed time, appointed times, and half a time, and when he shatters the hand of the holy people it will finish all these. 8 And I heard but did not understand, and he said, "My Lord, what is the end of these?" 9 And he said to you, "Daniel, the words are hidden and sealed until the time of the end." 10 Many will be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand, but the discerning will understand. 11 And from the time of the removing of the Continually and to give the Abomination of Desolation—days, a thousand two hundred and ninety. 12 Blessed is the one who waits and reaches the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days. 13 And you, go to your end and rest, and stand for your lot at the end of the days.
